Over 100 other trees that we have put in over the past 4 years, over 10 Tamarack, are growing into a beautiful wooded area. All are doing well. Even had apples this year! Have planted tons of perinneals. The wildlife is ABUNDANT....White Tail and Mule Deer, Elk, Moose, Bald and Golden Eagle, Pheasant, quail, grouse, Hungarian Partridge, Hawks and Owls. Tons of songbirds throughout spring and summer. Great place to own a telescope as there is no light pollution.
The Snake River is 7 miles down the hill. There is a beautiful Old Peach Orchard that is right on the bank of the River.....A drive down to the river on a lovely Spring afternoon with Peaches in Bloom, will not soon be forgotten.
There is a lovely Park (State Maintained) with Swimming area and boat launch about 8 miles from here.
We sit 3 1/4 miles back off of Hwy. 26. So there is NO TRAFFIC.
There is much more to living out here than I can tell you in a limited space. it is a must see if you are looking for Peace and Quiet, away from the HUSTLE & BUSTLE of Urban life. Great home to raise a family, Telecommute or just enjoy.
